TORO Sushi in Ubud

We enjoyed the sushi boat we got for the first time here! Price is great and sushi seems fresh!

Delicious sushi for a reasonable price. We (3guys) tried the boat which was good, probably a bit extra food as we were stuffed.The cold Sake has a bit of strong taste so would recommend sticking with the beer.

Almost terrible....very slow service, someting like sand😖 in chicken karaage, and diarehea after morning...😳

Came here for dinner. Sashima was very nice. But the hot food needs a bit more attention. Ordered the salmon teriyaki. Salmon was overcooked and hard.

The boat for 470k is good for 4 person. Rice is a bit over-boiled, but the fish is fresh and tender.

I've never written a review but I had to for this place. Best sushi my husband and I have ever eaten! We came here yesterday and were so surprised that we came the next day too. We highly recommend this place. 5 stars are not enough!!

Nice sushi but nothing spectacular

Very good sashimi platter. The special unigi roll had way too much sweet BBQ sauce - too sweet for my taste.

This sushi was amazing! It was the best sushi we had in Bali and ended up going here twice while visiting Ubud! I loved the seaweed salad, and all of the rolls we ordered, we also got our food pretty fast! Great service and friendly staff, would love to go back again!

You guys have to prepare the new chinaware, i got a chipped plate which is it is could be harmful. and spotted cup.Anyway i always order a volcano roll (this is the best for me), spicy salmon also good taste.One of the ladies know my preference : cola with ice and lime on the side. It is good for the guest experience.Value for money.Always go there at least twice a month.

Great gyozas, sushi rolls and fried chicken. Everything homemade. Just remember to ask the mayonnaise to be on the side instead of on the sushi rolls. Trust me, the mayonnaise is sweat and spicy, if you like your sushis Japanese style, say no to sweet chili mayo!

Currently under renovation however is at temporary location at Crossroads burger. Flying dragon roll was good but spicy tuna roll was average. Miso soup was very nice. Pretty decent for a sushi fix

Don't get the good reviews. Had to wait 30 minutes to get a table on a Monday night. Another one hour to get the food. Taste was alright..but the salmon had already dark parts.

No tiene baño!! They haven't toilet!!!! Can you believe it?? In one restaurant you can't wash your hands before eat!!!! They provide only sanitary alcohol.But anyway, sushi is delicious!!

My favorite Sushi spot in Ubud. Their signature rolls are delicious, particularly the mango one. Wouldn't expect mango to work well in sushi, but they make it happen. Quality of fish isn't amazing but that's par for the course in Bali. So the move is creative rolls with lots of ingredients and delicious sauces and that's exactly what Toro does best. Been coming here for years. Their happy hour sushi deal is really good value. Only complain is the mojitos were not very strong and a bit too sour. But I don't come here for the drinks.

They have a great service, they are even offer a valley service, sushi is tasty you can get a lot of choice from the menu 👍🍣🍣

Ok sushi, but I am not so sure about the hygiene

One of the best sushis I have ever eaten. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The quality is very good, and everything is fresh. Location easy to find of main street. It is in a side road which makes it perfect as away from all the noise. The only comment is that they are sometimes a little late in order but other than that perfect

Really nice place. Tasty food , attractive presentation! And big choice of food. Note , place does not have a toilet! Overall very good and recommended.

Good sushi, good service and good ambience. Signature sushi was Delicious. During happy hour we ant 30 pieces for under 20€ with 2 cokes included.

I thought it was delicious. Mexican roll was one of the best I've had. American sushi for certain.

Delicious. High quality ingredients prepared to high standards. Fast efficient service. Personable and present owner. Family friendly in the sense that our two children, both under 5, were treated very patiently despite some running around and getting in the way.

Same owner as Crossroad Burger. The atmosphere is nice, reasonable price. Some sushi dishes are not authentic but still taste good. The raw fish is in good quality.

Enjoyed the good and fresh sushi. The local wine was surprisingly good and so were the lemonade and ginger fizz.The prices are reasonable but be aware the 15 % is added to the final bill.Edit: went here a second time last night and it's still very good. I recommend making a reservation as the place gets quite busy. I booked through Facebook two hours before dinner and they got back to me with a confirmation in no time. Class.

Always love Toro Sushi. When you are in Ubud and wanting American Sushi, Toro Sushi is the best!

Very good and fresh fish. Restaurant is quickly full at night. Much cheaper than in France, you can eat for about 10 eur per person.

Ordered Tempura Soba, Tiger roll, Fried Calamari, and Pork Shirogaki. Love the roll, the other is So-So

If you're looking for a good Sushi🍣 restaurant to eat near Ubud than this is the place to be, the Sushi here is delicious. For a pretty busy place for tourists, the prices are not too high nor too low. The staff is friendly and available at any time.

I only tried the veg sushi options and it was fresh and very yummy!!

You would think the sushi would be fresh on an island, but it's not. It is about the quality of a standard sushi place in a small town in the US. Good prices and presentation though.

We were in the Ubud area for a week and we stopped by Toro Sushi three times. That's how good this place is. The sushi rolls are absolute heaven (we tried the California Rolls, Angel Rolls, and some of the Nigiri, among others). The staff is friendly and there's free Wi-Fi. Location is also convenient - smack dab in the center of Ubud.

Sushi and service was really good but I am giving 4 stars because all the waitresses were sitting around one table and they were very loud and screaming. It kinda ruined the atmosphere.

Touristic. Outside specials board is misleading. The sushi was not very good. Although It seemed fresh. The seaweed salad and edamami were great though and also felt fresh and the waitresses were nice.

Rainbow rolls wasn’t the best but the other two we have ordered was tasty.

Okay sushi. Not amazing but good enough. This is more Western/ Balinese style of making sushi so don't expect the same sushi quality you'll find in Japan or Singapore. Good service and nice spot to relax though

Had a platter and shared with my family of 4 (which was a good value for what we got). Decent sushi, wish we could select which rolls included in the platter though!

Great staff but no parking area

Very fine Japanese food: fresh and soft and delicious. The only negative point is the temperature inside the restaurant, missing some air. So you'd better find a place near the terrace. Worth to go. Not expensive for a Japanese meal

There was a happy hour promo when we came. We ordered Lust Roll and Flying Dragon Roll, then we got a plate of makimono for free. I think Flying Dragon Roll--the one topped with eel sauce--was my favorite. One thing though, the rice was not dense enough, it crumbled when I picked the roll up. All foods and drinks cost 227k for two (no alcoholic beverages).Located at a small street, the place has a nice ambience, especially during sunset time. Mind that if you come by motorbike, you can't park along Goutama street. So either you park on the side of Dewisita street or at Ubud market parking lot.

Great sushi and good offer everyday from 4 to 7 pm. 5 roles will cost you around 300 t0 350k idr.

Love this place! Sushi is one of the best I have eaten. Very big portion (10 pieces). Can be crowded inside, cause everyone in Ubud wanna to eat this tasty yummy rolls ❤️

Sushi here is amazing. There is a shusi happy hour from 4 to 7 pm. Buy 2 rolls and get a third one free. Love the place and the food.
